One thing that we all have in common is that we want to be happy in life. Of course what makes people happy is different for everyone but nonetheless we all want it. Finding happiness is not really as hard as a lot of people make it. Here are 3 keys to finding happiness.
1. Find out what makes you happy.
The other day I was talking to someone that said they arent happy and wanted to know if I had any suggestions to help them. I asked them what it would take for them to feel happy. They had never really thought about that before which surprised me. After all, if you dont know what makes you happy you will wonder around aimlessly searching for something that you dont know what it looks like.
2. Identify the difficulty level.
Once they thought about what makes them happy for a little while they began to tell me. For them, happiness was being a millionaire and being able to travel whenever they wanted. How hard do you think they have made it to feel happy? How hard have you made it to feel happy? What they said is that they dont feel happy when they cant travel. They have made it very hard to feel happy.
3. Make it east to feel happy.
Of course there is nothing wrong with wanted to travel and be a millionaire. However, if you base your happiness on this you wont be very happy. Instead, make happiness easy for you to feel. For instance, be happy whenever you learn from your experiences in life. Can you learn from every experience in your life? Of course you can. In that case you will always be learning from life and therefore always be happy.
