How Can You Find Your Purpose In Life?

Are you dissatisfied with your life, but cannot pinpoint what is wrong. By any "normal" standards your life may look as rosy as a picture to everyone else. Your dissatisfaction may be accompanied by an indefinite feeling of despair and ungratefulness for the "good fortune" you do have in your life because, as already mentioned, by society's standards you are living a pretty good, comfortable and law of successful life. However, the bottom line is that you are not happy and you can't understand why.

What I have discovered in coaching is that people from all walks of life are in a state of self-examination more so than ever before. A common thread that links is the longing for something more meaningful. They feel that somehow they are on the wrong track and that life should have more meaning. If this is you, quite simply put, you have begun to question the quality of your life versus the quantity of what you have. You have begun to question the existential question that has for all time plagued human beings namely; "What is my purpose?" External symbols of law of success such as fame, wealth, high status jobs, public image and the like are just not good enough anymore. You want to live a bigger and better life

What can you do?

Here are some important first steps you can take:

Take the time to listen to your inner voice
Be really honest and open with yourself for this once
Dare to write down what you really want or do not want in life.
Be courageous enough to put down on paper what you dream of no matter how unrealistic it may seem to you right now.
Do not stress out, if the answers do not come to you immediately.
Timing speaks volumes and the answers and solutions will come eventually if you keep asking the questions; "What do I want? "How do I want to live my life?"

You do know the truth of what you really want and who you really are and want to be and what you are capable of in this life. It may just be hidden at present. By sitting down and writing down your desires, you will speed up your growth and personal development. Once you have your answers, formulate a plan for yourself. A coach, mentor, consultant or another expert may be really helpful at this stage to help and support you move towards achieving your dreams and goals. Once you have a plan you can beginning taking steps to make your dreams real.

"Allowing your dreams to surface, gives you the strength.
