The Doubters

Jude 1: 22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting.

Have you ever doubted the existence of God? Do the cross, Jesus and Gods love confuse you at times? If you are honest, I believe the answer to both of the questions would be yes. If you havent doubted congratulations.

Doubting Gods power, love and existence is a weapon Satan uses to destroy our growth in Christ. Satan, the liar, whispers to you telling you things like: How could a loving God exist when there is so much pain, Jesus cant be real because its illogical to believe in Him, How could anyone come and die on a cross just for me, I cant be a Christian because I fail so often.

The deceiver wants you to doubt. When you live in doubt, you must surrender your faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. If Satan can get you to doubt he robs you of your relationship with God.

The good news is you dont have to listen. You can fight back with the truth. The mercy of God is with the doubters. He will pull you through the doubt. Make a decision to believe even when you dont feel the power of God. God is a fact not a feeling. Put the facts to work for you and doubt will fade.

Prayer focus: God please forgive my doubting. Have mercy on me and give me the power to live the life of faith.
